Lust definition: An intense desire, usually thought of with reference to sexual wants.
The porn or sex industry makes a large contribution to consumerism. 12% of websites on the internet are pornographic (24,644,172 sites). Sex is one of the largest product sellers for other products too; music, food, fashion, technology, you name it. Sex sells. The sin lust is exploited through advertising and the branding of products, to entice the desire to buy them. There are a number of criticisms against this method of advertising within feminism and other movements, because of the degradation of women and a lowering of morals and values taught to people worldwide. The 'water shed' is an example of a method used to enusure that unsuitable material would not be showed until a certain time in the evening, however, today, more and more is being slipped in to day time viewing for all to see; newspapers, magazines, television, the internet, billboards etc.
